What is SkyLara Canopy Intelligence?
A free website that analyses the GPS tracks from your FlySight: your landing pattern, landing turn (per 90°), where you landed, a consistency score against your own jumps, wing loading and the manufacturer's guidance for your canopy — plus learning material for canopy flight. It is information for learning, not advice.
Which devices are supported?
FlySight 2 track files (TRACK.CSV, SENSOR.CSV), original FlySight 1 track files (HH-MM-SS.CSV in date folders; GPS only, so no barometer or IMU context) and Deep and Steep Insight / Stratos GPS tracks. Drop the whole SD card or a date folder on the upload page; the site finds the jumps and skips duplicates.
Is it free?
Yes, the service is currently free.
Who can see my jumps?
Only you. A jump becomes visible to someone else only if you create a share link for it (and it stops working when you stop sharing). Community features are optional and off by default.
Does it tell me when to downsize or which canopy to fly?
No. It shows manufacturer charts, your calculated wing loading and your own recorded numbers side by side. The decision belongs with you, your canopy coach and your drop zone.
How is the consistency score calculated?
Against your own jumps only: landing close to your usual spot or target (35 points), a steady heading on final (30), final descent rate like your norm (20) and final-leg time like your norm (15). When the track does not cover the whole final approach, only landing and heading are scored and rescaled to 100.
Can I see metres and feet, km/h and mph?
Yes — both systems are shown everywhere by default. You can choose which comes first in Settings.
Can I add a landing video?
Yes. Upload a ground or helmet video to a jump, mark the touchdown frame, and the recorded height, speeds and heading follow the video frame by frame.
Can my coach review a jump?
Yes. Share the jump with a link or send it as a review request in Messages; the coach can leave notes and you get notified.
How do I delete my data?
Delete single jumps from the dashboard, or delete your whole account under Account & privacy. You can also download everything we hold as JSON.
Where does the canopy information come from?
From the manufacturers' own documents (Performance Designs, JYRO) with the source linked on every canopy page.
